Description: General Methodology: Each nature reserve and covenant provided to the contractor was reviewed and relevant data was placed in a specific spreadsheet to that particular property. All relevant attribute data was held here during primary research and during quality assurance. Once data collection was considered complete, the contractor, Blair Underhill created spatial entities for each item, and attributed it with the collected data. When possible some spatial data was extracted from previously collected data sources. This was the case for: Cyril Cunningham NRElder Cedar NRMcFadden Creek Nature SanctuaryVanilla Lead LandOnce spatial data and attribution were complete, the contractor submitted the datasets for review to Barb Dashwood and Kate Emmings for review. Accuracy: Accuracy ranged from GPS collected points to interpretations of hand drawn maps. Generally, handheld GPS devices have a accuracy range of 5-10m. Most data delivered is in this range. However, when hand drawn maps were used, it was indicated in the attribute field “ACCURACY” that poorer accuracy is likely, probably in the range of 10-20m from true location on ground.
